Carnival Corporation & plc announced that Josh Weinstein will assume the role of President and CEO of Carnival Corporation & plc. He replaces Arnold Donald, currently President and Chief Executive Officer, who is being appointed Vice Chair and member of the Boards of Directors.
Chief Operations Officer Weinstein has been with Carnival for 20 years in senior-level roles, most recently as COO. He has overseen all major operational functions, including Carnival UK, the P&O Cruises (UK) operating company, and Cunard, which he directly managed for three years as president.
Before that, Weinstein was treasurer for Carnival & plc for ten years, overseeing all treasury, tax, insurance, and financial planning & analysis functions. Previously, he served as an attorney in the corporate legal department.

Josh Weinstein will assume the role of president effective August 1. A native of New York, Weinstein, and his wife have three children.
