Princess Cruises announced the debut of its YouTube series, Ocean Treks Conservation Connections, featuring short stories about environmental management, wildlife conservation, and sustainability. The series is hosted by Environmental Ambassador Jeff Corwin and Princess President John Padgett.
The 28-episode weekly series follows the award-winning series Ocean Treks’ success and highlights Princess’s sustainability stories.
The Ocean Treks Conservation Connections videos will feature the following topics:
- Recycling and sustainability
- Food waste reduction and biodigester system
- Conservation at Princess Cays
- Leveraging shore power and energy efficiency
- Advanced Wastewater Treatment System
- Innovative fuel sources
- Advanced Air Quality System
It will also feature wildlife and conservation stories initially highlighted in the first three seasons of Ocean Treks. These episodes take viewers to Princess destinations, including Alaska, Dominican Republic, French Polynesia, Iceland, Japan, and New Zealand.
Carnival Corporation’s Ocean Originals programs debuted in 2016 with Ocean Treks, including Vacation Creation and The Voyager with Josh Garcia, aired on ABC and NBC, respectively.
The original Ocean Treks series has been honored with seven Daytime Emmy nominations and 44 Telly Awards, recognizing the best in broadcast and cable TV, digital, and streaming. Ocean Treks is also available on-demand in staterooms on board Princess ships and via OceanView.

Ocean Treks Conservation Connections begin streaming on April 19, 2022.
